Designer looking for a Programmer for long-term partnership

  Looking for someone who can creatively program and is capable of writing original scripts. He or she must be aware of conventional standards as well as be able to implement his or her own standards within the project itself. Also I hope you enjoy problem solving and take pride in being thorough and concise.

  The website, project Fama!, is about the relationship between community, bands, and venues. In my perspective it is an experiment on user behavior and the creation of algorithms to determine popularity as well as the search to discover methods for effectively presenting users with relevant information and tools based on their own individuality. For the users, this website is basically a hybrid between a social community and a search engine that offers them something that currently doesn't exist anywhere.
  
  We've begun development but I'm looking for someone who fits my aforementioned description. I've had bad luck with programmers in the past and I don't want this project be thrown together and sloppy. This is about progressing our knowledge of social systems, not an attempt to throw some gimmick up for advertising bucks. Although do keep in mind, that if successful, the website does become hugely profitable without advertising.
