  Create a web-based video store management system.
  It has all the normal trimmings of normal desktop based video-store software, but it is hosted online. The gimmick is that it matches user profiles to create an "Other users liked" set of features. Basically an Amazon.com set of features. So then customers can do all their browsing online and then just walk into the store to pick up the DVD.
  Revenue model: The site is offered for free to the stores, with the aim of getting as many customers (store owners) as possible. It then sells ad-space, which can be targetted because you have a huge amount of detailed information on users. A user-base is built up through the stores, in whose interest it is to have as much detail as possible. I"m specifically thinking of targeting South African stores as we have a different video-market (low broadband penetration) than other countrys, so we don"t have video on demand.
