Programmer looking for a Programmer for long-term partnership

• Required Knowledge

  Looking for a developer with significant experience building LAMP-driven websites, and scaling them to handle large amounts of traffic (read-heavy mysql, replication, etc) -- emphasis on MySQL optimization and scalability with PHP. Familiarity with Smarty templating system would be beneficial.
  
  Ideally, the developer would be interested in the social-networking space and "Web 2.0" technologies.
  
  Compensation is in equity. Development on the project has already started.
