UPDATE: With all of the response, making a selection is proving difficult. Here's how I would like to select the person or team that gets all future work.
Take a look at http://www.indianriverfamily.org - This is a non-profit that I help from time to time. They are looking for a complete redesign of their site and want to continue to use the Wordpress CMS. Their basic criteria is to have a site that is more engaging to younger peope (16-35), able to feature videos found on various sites like YouTube along with ALERT or ACTION items and blog post. Looking for something that mixes the best of Web 2.0 and the "Wow Factor."
For those looking to receive future work, develop a Wordpress Site that meets the criteria I mentioned above. The graphics are not the most important thing, I can work with you to enhance those later. What is most important is the layout of content in a user friendly manner.
You can send your final Wordpress Theme to WorkWithJM@jmwaters.com. Again, this is a realworld project and your final product will be used on the site. This is not a paying project, but will determine the programmer/developer who receives the majority of future work.
Looking to develop longterm relationship with one or two excellent Programmers who can make designs and concepts I develop for my clients become a reality. I am starting a Graphic Design business and want to be able to offer potential clients a wide array of products, including custom websites.
I am open to discussing pay rates based on the Programmers ability. Portfolio of completed sites is a must, as is a willingness to assist in (no more than 1-2 hours a month) doing pro bono work for charities and non-profits.
