I am looking to recruit a web designer/developer for totalBarca.com - a sports community for English speaking fans of Spanish football club FC Barcelona. The website is over a year old (founded in November 2009) - and is one of the most popular websites for FC Barcelona related news.
We get about a million hits every month, and we're looking to redesign our website to give it a community feel and make it more accessible for our readers.
We already have wireframes and sample designs, need someone to design on top of that keeping in mind the UI patterns we want to incorporate and convert it to optimized, error-free code. If you can code it to a WordPress theme, even better.
The Catch:
We're a completely volunteer-driven organization which runs and maintains this website for the love of football and the club. There are no monetary benefits for those involved. With the next version of our website, we aim to monetize and donate profits to UNICEF as charity - in sync with the objectives of FC Barcelona who donates a fraction of their ordinary income every year to UNICEF.
We want a designer who will stick by us till the site is launched and monetized. Price is negotiable BUT will only be paid once the site is monetized as we don't have any surplus funds for this project (we pay for our hosting from our own pockets).
