Entrepreneur looking for a Programmer for long-term partnership

  A New York based media company is seeking a web developer to lead production of its new site.
  
  Applicants should be proficient with various programming languages, including HTML 5, CSS, Action Script, Processing and all major web-based frameworks (ASP/.NET, Java, Python, etc.). Front-end development must be innovative, design friendly and, most importantly, fun. The right applicant will be able to see past standard menu-and-list-based structures to create a highly interactive experience by implementing user gestures and complex animations to create a new kind of interface. Back-end development must be highly sophisticated -- linking users with the right information based on numerous variables and creating an easily accessible database with precise records to be used for accounting and marketing purposes. Graphic design skills are a plus. Experience with game design and animation is a major plus.
  
  The right person will be committed for the long haul -- someone who shares our desire to reshape how people consume news and entertainment. The successful applicant will also be a leader -- you'll have to manage the site's production from beginning to end, overseeing a limited budget and small staff. We're offering a modest salary with the potential for full partnership status once the project is underway.
