Designer looking for a Programmer for long-term partnership

  Hey,
  
  I'm a designer that has been doing freelance work for many years and have been employed now for a few years by a financial corp doing design and other tasks. I'm looking to get out on my own but want take the next step to attract some larger clients.
  
  Most of my projects have always been for local small businesses with basic html pages. I want to find some one who has the developer side of things down and is in the same boat; wanting to start their own business. I'd really like to have a full service design/developer firm where we could provide clients with everything from an awesome site website, to iphone apps, videos, everything creative...
  
  Typically location wouldn't matter if this were just one project I was working, on but i'd really like to find some one nearby so we could create an actual business.
