These are the exact details of what I need .... on a very limited budget ...
Database #1 (REVIEWERS) will contain a list of reviewers with their areas of expertise. This information will be received through a webform placed on the website on the Reviewers Needed Section. The webform will contain a choice of areas of expertise, and contact information.
Database #2 (ABSTRACTS) will contain the abstracts that we will receive through a webform placed on the website on the Abstract Submission Section. Abstracts include contact information, a text document and one or two figures (optional). Individuals submitting abstracts will also have to indicate the research area within which their research falls.
-Upon submission of the information, participants need to be redirected to the payment website to pay the abstract submission fee.
Assignment reviewers/abstracts will be done automatically based on the abstract identified research area and reviewers areas of expertise to achieve the following criteria:
- Each abstract must be evaluated by three different reviewers.
- Each reviewer reviews no more than 20 abstracts.
- Reviewers MUST NOT have access to contact information. This information must remain confidential.
- When all assignments are made, an email will be sent to each reviewer with a link to all the abstract that he/she is assigned to. Each abstract can be presented in a webform, and it needs to be accompanied by a few evaluation questions for the reviewer to determine the quality of the abstract.
Database #3 (RATINGS) will contain the average scores for each abstract. This database need to contain information about who were the reviewers for each abstract, and the contact information associated with each abstract. This will be used to determine what abstracts are accepted for oral presentation, poster presentation, and those that will be rejected.
Another webform that we will need is for Conference registration. This is a simple form containing contact information and indicating the fee that will need to be paid, which depends on the time at which the payment is made, and the category of individuals (students, postdoctoral scholars, professors, clinicians, etc).
- Upon submission of the information, participants need to be redirected to the website to pay the conference registration fee.
