I'm a photographer, writer, and traditional print designer who is breaking into web. I'm a whiz with static design, but am just getting up to speed with CSS, Javascript, and other web technologies. I'm looking for a programmer who needs someone who can crank out designs and can help me with CSS and cross-browser compatibility on simple, local, mom-and-pop 5-page websites (eg www.healthwin.org) that are my typical clients.
If you have clients and have the immediate need for a designer, I'll be more inclined to work with you. I just graduated from college in a tough job market in one of the most economically depressed areas in the country, so I could use all the work (and cash) I can get. But if you have no clients but are cool, do cool work, are kind of in the same space, and would like to work with me on my trickle, don't be discouraged; I'm open!
I have the immediate need for simple CSS/HTML/cross-browser work on five websites, and would like to begin a partnership by working on these. It would be ideal if you could initiate a partnership by bringing a similar amount of projects for me to work on in turn. Check out my website - www.alecquig.com - and get at me - *BY EMAIL* - if you'd like to team up.
