-A website or portfolio
-Ability to speak fluent English
-Ability to code appealing and usable designs
-Willingness to create a small enterprise around seilling themes on ThemeForest for passive income.
What I'm looking for
I am looking to team up with a freelance web developer to create ThemeForest templates as a means of passive income and to grow our own portfolios. You should show good creative skills and be able to code usable designs that would appeal to a large subset of users.
I have also done some research into the types of items that can sell well on ThemeForest and it is clear that visually appealing, usable and well put together themes are often high selling and offer a strong source of passive income. Take a look at the other Envato Marketplaces and you'll find a number of users who have sold over $100,000 worth of items. Although they have been selling for some time this could be a reachable target, although I do not expect us to make anywhere near that amount any time soon.
With a joint effort we will be able to output high quality and attractive themes that will do well on ThemeForest but also serve as a good piece in our portfolios. We may be able to create themes at a faster pace than a sole author on ThemeForest.
About Me
I am a student and freelance Graphic Design based in Manchester, UK. I have been designing for the past 3 years and have worked with companies from both USA and the UK.
Splitting responsibilities
I will be creating the designs and you would be in charge of coding them up either as plain (x)HTML and CSS or as Wordpress themes. (Note: WP themes sell very well on ThemeForest). We can both decide on what types of themes to create dependant upon whether or not we could do them and how appealing they may be to ThemeForest users.
Ideal partner
It'd be good if another student is out there looking to build their portfolio and generate some passive income and build a business relationship. I don't want to sound like I'm discounting anyone who isn't a college student, I'm not. I have worked with and enjoy working with all types of people, from freelancers to large corporates.
If you've got what it takes, send me an email to hello@design24and7.com and we can discuss further details.
