Hi,
I am an Entrepreneur and a senior UI/UX designer myself. I have recently started releasing themes on ThemeForest.net. I have already 1 HTML, 1 WordPress (of that same HTML) and 1 PSD on my ThmeForest profile.
Now, my situation is I have 3 other good designers with me and we can product lots of quality PSD designs. But we do not have enough developers to code them to WP. I have 2 WP guys but they are currently busy coding current themes and they also take much time. So I was looking for more expert, fast and accurate WP developer to join my team, or partner with me - to create something really great and make good progress on ThemeForest.
Now I would like describe a few criteria I am thinking about:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Do you have any WP theme that is live on TF. You need not to be the owner/author, but the item must be coded by you. If you have, please show me.
* Are you well aware of the TF standards? How many soft rejects the themes you coded get normally?
* I would like to supply the PSD design, as well the HTML/Front End codings. You will have to convert them to WP. Are you comfortable with that arrangement? Or will you wish to code the HTML yourself?
* The themes will be ultimately submitted from my account - ownership & copyright will also be ours. You will get 50% of each sale (after all fees, texes are deducted by Envato).
* As you will be developing the theme, you will also need to give support as you know the codes and the theme best.
* We will supply you premium plugins that you need to add to the theme. Like, Visual Composer, Rev Slider and some other. We will buy extended versions of them and supply to you. Also, if we need premium images, we will buy them.
* Though you would not need to bear costs for buying resources, you will have to bear 50% for any marketing cost. Like if we give ad anywhere.
* Please tell me about your expertise and experiences about WordPress (and any other CMS) theme development. Also, did you work with regular plugins like Visual Composer, Rev Slider, WPML, BuddyPress, Bbpress etc.
* What framework do you use for building the Theme Options?
***If you have any proposition about any of the points above, please let me know frankly.
