Designer looking for a Programmer for a few jobs

  I would like to have a "slider" (like the ones that utilize an ellipsis or +/- sign) that I can install on my webpages so the end-user can easily hide and show content on a page they are viewing.
  
  The main goal of inserting this code is to collapse long product descriptions after the first 5 lines so that customers can easily view more of the content on the page. If they want to view the entire product description, they would click on an icon that would show the rest of the content. Then, they should be able to collapse the content.
  
  Our pages currently use a version of jquery. When I have used elipsis code that other developers have given me or that I downloaded, it broke the photo close-up lightboxes on those pages.
