We are looking for someone to developer a Bootstrap/LESS admin theme for our backend system. The project is short term and all documentation and assets are complete and ready to go. The admin theme consists of 18 unique pages/elements used to payout a total of 24 screens each with several instances.
All of the design work is complete and the design has a full set of specifications.
We are looking for an individual highly experienced with bootstrap themes. The theme needs to be well written taking full advantage of LESS and keeping the pages sizes to a minimum. 90% of the theme is CSS based. there are very few images in the theme. The theme will be integrated into a meteor backend solution. Integration is out of scope. The deliverable is a front-end bootstrap/LESS admin theme with internal links demonstrating the functionality of the theme.
The project includes theme behaviors and animations. The browser compatibility is as follows: IE9, IE10, IE11+, Firefox (v28+), Safari, Safari Mobile, Android mobile, Opera , Chrome (v32+) The entire theme needs to be touch device friendly.
We have a target of 200k or less per page. All JS needs to be minimal and all final files need to be delivered both normal and minified. The pages will have 1 breakpoint at 1024 for iPad/tablets and it scales up from there for other screen. While smart phone breakpoint and styles are not part of scope you will need to keep it in mind. in 6 months we will probably call you back to add the smart phone version as an additional project.
IF YOU CAN'T WRITE JAVASCRIPT FROM SCRATCH. DO NOT APPLY.
While we have tried to anticipate all possible states for the admin theme there will of course be small things we have missed. We have a full time designer available for any questions, adjustments changes or element that might have been missed in the process.
We are using the following js frameworks in the theme. You will be required to use these.
jQuery + jquery-validator plugin
underscore.js
modernizr
I am including some example pages of the spec to give you a reference. A full spec will be sent to applicants that meet our criteria. The spec includes png's of all of the pages and most of the states, pdfs of sizes, behaviors and general measurements, a crude html/css mockup of some pages to demonstrate some page behaviors like table scaling. the original illustrator document with all screens and states. all of the webfonts and a custom icon font (no graphic icons). You can use an existing bootstrap theme and modify it if the theme has been written well and meets the requirements. If you choose to do this, the starting theme will need to be approved by us first.
