Entrepreneur looking for a Programmer for long-term partnership

• Required Knowledge

  To qualify... You should be a respected and confident PHP Developer / PHP Web Developer with skills that cover the following:
  
  - Expert back-end development in PHP & MySQL;
  - WordPress theme/plugin development and WordPress APIs;
  - LAMP VPS setup & administration (Ubuntu);
  - Amazon Web Services;
  - Version control systems (Mercurial/Git);
  - Experience of working with RESTful APIs for developing web apps;
  - PHP frameworks, Object-Oriented programming concepts & MVC;
  - Awareness of modern web technologies (e.g. HTML5/CSS3);
  - A willingness to develop front-end code when necessary;
  - JavaScript / AJAX;
  - Good communication and team working skills.
  
  Any exposure to high traffic websites and solving scaling problems is advantageous, as would experience with the following: JavaScript MVC frameworks; HTML/CSS responsive layouts, Google Apps and Django/Python.
