TekCube aims to bring to market an online interactive MMOCC (Mass Multiplayer Online Chat
Community) browser game in which players design a character, communicate, play games
together in real-time and construct a virtual apartment in which other players on the service can
The game will be free-to-play for all users. However, users of the service can purchase virtual
currency to purchase virtual goods such as room decorations and furniture, tickets to play games
and an exclusive subscription service which will enhance their gaming experience.
TekCube aims to fulfill the following goals within the first year of operation of the service:
* An active userbase and community of over 100 players.
* To apply an effective marketing strategy to the game to turn a profit in the sales of
virtual goods & subscriptions
* To maintain a clear role of user safety and to adhere to community feedback
The online project, internally dubbed OIP and herein referred to as such, has been in development
for several months under a team of three workers - a graphic artist, coder and director. Concept
artwork stages for the game have been completed and art has already been produced for a number
of uses in the game. An initial alpha client was developed and tested among a small number of
users and found to be an effective service.
The Online Interactive Project, OIP, will become a web-based game whereby users can create a
personalised avatar to suit whatever appearance they desire. They will be able to then navigate this avatar through rooms or outside spaces within a virtual city, in which they can send
messages to other players and collectively take part in minigames and events.
The users will be able to purchase in-game currency that will
be used to purchase virtual goods. Users who have purchased
virtual currency can use this to decorate their own
?Apartment? within the city and invite other users of the
service to visit them in their personalised apartment.
The service will be regularly updated, not only with the
addition of new furniture, clothing and item packs which users
can purchase, but also through regular and daily community
events, news articles, participation from staff to the users of
the service through events and competitions, and general
activity on the service from the staff members.
We will retain an active userbase and offer incentives for users
to play the game and desire virtual goods. We aim for the
project to earn a large amount of revenue for its relatively low
By guaranteeing a service which constantly improves with new features, and introduces new
items, based on user feedback, as well as keeping the userbase using the service with incentives to
play, it is with our confidence that we believe OIP will be able to build a strong community and
