  Key Skills... With a background gained as a Software Developer / Software Engineer or similar, your skills and experience should highlight the following:
  
  - Proven experience using Java / Mule / PHP.
  - Experience with high-traffic systems where efficiency and scalability is important.
  - Estimating and planning of tasks.
  - Good understanding of web security and experience in eliminating exploits.
  - Experience of working on your own initiative, designing and programming complete web or application-based solutions and communicating with other teams.
  - Proficient skills using databases, e.g. Postgres/MySQL/Oracle/Hadoop and using UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  - Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
  
  A Computer Science degree (or equivalent) is or exposure to any of the following is advantageous: Design Patterns, SQL, JDBC, HTTP Servlets and containers, Agile/Scrum, Spring MVC, JBoss, Maven, Git, JUnit, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Unix/Bash scripting.
