Programmer looking for a Designer for a few jobs

  I am going back to the Freelance world and I am looking for designers to work with. I currently have no portfolio but I plan to create 2 - 3 projects that highlight my skills. Those skills are application development in the areas of web, facebook, twitter and mobile.
  My work is good but looks amateur like due to ma lack of design skills. A design partner would help me bring my work to life while at the same time add variety to their own portfolio.
