Two successful ecommerce professionals with a new concept for analytics. Designed to assist multichannel retailers to understand web behaviour better, including the interactivity between all channels.
We believe there is a significant gap in the market in the analytics field that isn't being met by free tools and that the current paid software packages fail to meet.
We understand how the data needs to interact and loosely how it should be captured (though I should stress that this is not our strong point).
We are seeking a developer who will lead and manage the technical delivery of the project from photoshop mock ups and designs we have produced to delivering the platform (which will be SaaS).
We know from conversations with developer friends that it's entirely doable.
The business model is that we will charge the retailer a monthly fee based on volumes of traffic/interactions etc combined with the spend of digital media.
We believe that there will be strong demand for this product.
In return for engineering the product, you will receive an equity share of the business and once the revenue allows, be the first full time employee of the company.
Our closest competitors who's product are web analytics technologies are turning over low millions, although it's very difficult to guess, we feel that this business should have a turnover of £3-5m by year 3.
There isn't yet start up capital in place but we feel once the product is demonstrable and preparing for initial deployments we will seek additional investment to facilitate you going full time and bringing in the required talent to push forward more rapidly.
