We are a leading provider of custom on demand art printing services. We are seeking a "rock star" web application developer or a tight knit team to work with our lead designer to develop a sleek, highly usable, web application that will allow our clients to upload any image over the web and print it onto canvas.
**This is a contract job and will NOT be full-time. Contract will last approximately 30-40 days. Candidate can be located anywhere in North America.
Candidate(s) or team must posses the following skills:
-Ability to code rock solid pages following best practices (CSS, xHTML) compliant with w3c standards
-Ability to develop a sophisticated online application that will allow our clients to upload an image, edit (crop, resize), and select a variety of framing options
-Back end system that will track orders and integrate with an existing e-commerce solution
-Wordpress customization
-Must be well versed in usability best practices, working with wire frames and the ability to solve functionality challenges
-Experience with e-commerce is a must
-Experience with online imaging solutions or online image editing applications would be considered a strong asset.
-You will be supplied with a project plan, specifications (documentation) and all design assets, images, etc.
-You must have the ability to create clean, documented code, and follow quality control and testing procedures.
-Ability to work independently and remotely
