  We are seeking an experienced and talented web designer to design a 5-7 page website which would include an events calendar, contact/order forms, and e-commerce product pages.

  1. How long have you been in business?
  2. Which days and hours do you work?
  3. How can we reach you?
  4. How much education & experience do you have designing websites? Which tools do you use?
  5. Describe your design process.
  6. What design-related questions do you generally ask new clients before you get started?
  7. How many samples and revisions do you deliver?
  8. How soon after hire date can you deliver the first batch of samples? In general, how long is your turnaround time?
  9. What are your payment terms (e.g. 50% up front)?
  10. What if I?m not happy with the design?
  11. How do sites you?ve designed rank in search engines?
  12. What strategies do you employ to make sure a site is easy to use?
  13. What is your process before going live with a new site?
  14. How much experience do you have with XHTML & CSS?
  15. Do you charge a lower rate for design-only vs design plus coding? Please specify.
  
  Timeframe:
  We need initial website samples by February 25th and a finalized website design by March 4th (does not necessarily need to be coded).
