  i am looking for a competent web programmer to assist with detecting and counting "clicks" on an existing html table.

  when the numbers are clicked and highlighted, i would like to maintain a count of the total and be able to perform calculations based on this number. when the numbers are clicked and un-highlighted, i would like the count to reflect this change and decrease accordingly.
