IDC WebDev, LLC, a three-person firm experiencing strong growth, is shedding old skin and becoming Supermega Design, LLC. We're building capacity to meet the needs of our growing list of clients. SMD works with a variety of small-to-medium-enterprise entities, from startup non-profits and small businesses to statewide political campaigns and regional advocacy groups. Our development environment is primarily PHP/MySQL on linux, using the Drupal content management system as a base for most projects.
We seek a developer who is self-motivated and enjoys the challenge of working directly with a diverse group of clients. As part of a small firm you will enjoy a great deal of freedom day-to-day to meet client expectations and improve the operations and direction of Supermega Design. This is a full-time employee position. Salary depends on qualifications.
We're looking for:
-- Strong development skills with PHP, MySQL, javascript/DOM (other languages a plus)
-- Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS and good practices
-- Experience with Drupal or a similar CMS
-- Comfort with common Linux web server administration tasks: performance, logging/debugging, software intstallation. More advanced sysadmin experience is a plus.
-- Confidence in communicating directly with clients and providing technical support
-- Motivation and capability to work without a lot of pestering or oversight
