Designer looking for a Programmer for 1 job

  I'm interested in creating a free application to run on top of OS X. The goal is to create an alternative to the "Finder" application that is based entirely on the keyboard, with as little mouse operation as possible (as the mouse tends to slow things down). This would not be a strictly command-line interface like Terminal; it would have graphic aids to help make the interface easy to learn and use, and would provide drop-down "suggestions" as you type.
  
  I believe that such an interface could actually be *easier* to learn than the graphic OS, because the goal would be to use a flexible English syntax, a very clean, easy to read interface, and no visual distractions.
  
  I'm looking for someone ambitious and interested in rocking the boat! I'm not out to make money here, I'm expecting this will be free or open-source, though I'm open to other options.
