For the past year, I have been developing an online isometric chat room. From my experience, I'm aware that there is a big market in such a project if it's marketed and developed properly.
I've worked with a lot of different designers and released lots of different versions and tried to develop this from lots of different angles but now I have myself a project manager who will be helping with the marketing of the project.
I'm after a designer who will be able to develop isometric graphics for the client of the chat room.
I am the programmer for this project and my tasks within the project is developing the client, which I'm developing in Actionscript and a socket server in Java. At present I don't have any live samples of a working client as I don't have a server set up to run it successfully but I'm working on it. As a quick alternative, I've uploaded some images for you to see which are of the client in action, which you can find at - http://72.232.240.35/~uploads/. As you can see, my graphics aren't the best of quality but I was focusing more on general development of the client and server.
With this type of project, there are many different ways of making money. One being the users, paying for more features and items for there own account, advertisements and my project manager mentioned something about a grant we will be able to get for development and other expenses.
If you have any more questions, then don't hesitate to contact me and I'll look forward to hearing from you.
