  Good Morning!
  
  We're looking for a designer to help us renovate and redesign a 8 year old video game. The UI is crufty, and we're looking to build a new version as a Flash site online.
  
  We've got some crafty coders, and can probably manage to create the flex-side internally, but we're pretty horrible at design. Primarily, what we want is just a few pngs, so that we can mock up what we need from there.
  
  
  If you want to make a bid to do the actual flex coding, we'll certainly consider it..
  We know that you're a lot smarter than we are, and probably better ui coders.
  
  If you did want to consider that option, I'd note that our budget is relatively tight, which is why we're doing a lot of the coding internally.. We'd love to work something out; I'm confident that we could make it happen for you.
  
  
  
  
  
  Our game has been played by scores of people over the ages, but it's really starting to show it's age.. The existing UI is slow, clunky, and looks like something designed in 1995.
  
  We're looking to modernize it, bring it online, and mix the game with the website, bringing them together in a common UI and element style.
  
  I'd be happy to send you vast numbers of screenshots of the existing UI, but we know that what we need most is someone to help show us how we can simplify, cut things out, and reduce noise.
  
  We're fans of similicty where possible, a user-focused approach to UI, and trying to ensure that people don't feel lost in the visual noise. We're fans of Mint.com's design, and read 37 signals, A list apart, and the usual blogs.
