• Required Knowledge

  Requirements:
  * Independence, willingness to learn and problem solving skills are a must.
  * At least 2 years of related work experience/education.
  * Able to complete on time and on budget.
  * Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  * An understanding of Web 2.0 philosophies and culture.
  
  Technical Skills:
  * Proficient with handcoding HTML and TABLE-LESS CSS layouts.
  * Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash.
  * JavaScript and Action Script a huge plus!
  * Experience with Joomla 1.0 or 1.5 template integration is a must!
  * Strong portfolio.

  Isotropic Media is looking for a freelance designer / front-end developer to be a key member of our On-Call Development Team.
  
  The position requires an outstanding command of CSS, HTML, Javascript, and Joomla 1.0 or 1.5. Reporting directly to the company owners, the successful candidate will be responsible for taking a design project from the conceptual phase, improving for finalization and client approval, to converting to HTML mockups and/or integrating with Joomla.
  
  Responsibilities:
  * Working with a team (company owners, back-end programmer, and SEO copywriter) to create compelling and cutting edge web sites and web applications.
  * Responsible for updating conceptual designs into functional interface mockups, or designing from scratch if needed.
  * Creating pages, images, banners and other creatives for promotional campaigns.
  * Assist in transitioning existing table-based sites into CSS (WE ONLY PUBLISH TABLELESS CSS).
