Programmer looking for a Designer for long-term partnership

  Let me introduce myself. My name is Andrew. I'm a Senior attending High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. I've been programming for 6-7 years. My main language of choice is PHP. Along side of learning everything PHP, I've learned the ins and outs of xHTML and CSS. I've also dabbled a bit with JavaScript too. I'm getting to that point of life - you know, the point where you have to do everything on your own - and I would like to try to make a living doing what I love. I love freelancing, working for myself and controlling my own work flow. Freelancing is pretty tough though. Finding clients is one of my main issues. Many search sites for freelancers are an unreliable source of income. I've came up with a solution to fix this problem. The other day I was talking to a friend. He was telling me how he had to sell one of his web-sites because of the amount of clients he was receiving. He sold it before I met him, and it was a one man job. So what I'm proposing is the construction of a site very similar to his. The site would have couple of more features to make the process more open, detailed, and as efficient as possible. Like I said, I'm a programmer not a designer. My main reason for coming to this board to to find designer/s who would like to hear me out. As a designer, you will be helping me create the initial site. Once the initial site is up and ready for clients to visit, I will be doing a round of advertising. This is where things get a bit shaky. If things go as planned, we - the designer/s, myself, and other people who participate - will have a constant and steady source of income. Remember, we will be a small group independent freelancers. The site will just be a gateway to our clients.
