I need an architect / senior web engineer who will participate in and be responsible for all aspects of development. Strong candidates will have previously led architectural design of a data-driven, mass-audience, interactive web application.
Requirementsâ?¦
* Broad expertise in AJAX-type technologies (JavaScript and/or ActionScript/Flex on client; Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP, etc. on server)
* Ability to lead and motivate small technical teams;
* BS in appropriate technical/computer science area, MS preferred;
* 5+ years internet application development experience;
* Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other databases in both access methodology and database design;
* Produce elegant, maintainable code using agile development processes; and
* Experience planning network operations a plus.
