Entrepreneur looking for a Programmer for long-term partnership
Required Knowledge
web programming, backend, php, mysql, server stuff, frontend, xhtml, css, javascript
Additional Info
The Collaborative is an independent, nonprofit research and education institution looking for a programmer (or few) to partner with us on some high-profile (possibly high income) projects. Programmers will get a small stipend ($100- $500) per project and a percentage sales/revenue/whatever (between 10-30%).
Projects that make too much money have to be spun off as separate companies - if that happens the programmer will receive founders share equity (and negotiable extras) to remain with the project.
The projects tend to be fun, clean, simple, and highly innovative, impactful or useful. We don't make things for just any reason.
Need to be familiar with web programming - both backend (php, mysql, server stuff) and frontend (xhtml, css, javascript).
The backend stuff is more important, the frontend stuff will tend to be pretty basic (html/css skeletons, simple javascript effects, ability to make ajax calls).
Prefer someone who has some experience using frameworks (codeigniter is preferred, although it should be easy to pick up for anyone working on an mvc-ish framework). Will entertain python people (only if they can entertain us). Experience with version control (svn) is really very helpful.
