  I'm planning to start my next project that is going to be awesome. It's an ambitious project, but we are not taking on Google, with some very top secret algorithm. Instead, this project is going to amaze the social networking world. The WWW is filled with all sort of information and using that we will build this next generation social network. Twitter is the IT for microblogging, Pownce is the IT for file sharing and chat. What we are building will the IT for social networking.
  
  Who can join me?
  I will need a few dedicated Ruby on Rails developers to form a team to work on this huge project, so please comment or put in your offer even if there is one already, with ninja skills and passion. You need to be comfortable workin with most Javascript toolkit or writing your own javascript. Ajax when required. You will need to understand how to scrape the web to get information. Sysadmin will be a plus. HTML/CSS is needless is to say.
  
  Location?
  Preferably - United States, we will be submitting an application to the YCombinator - http://ycombinator.com/w2008.html. So the team has to move to the Bay Area if selected for 3 mths. If you are can't do that or currently reside outside of the US, we might be able to work something out.
  
  What's the idea?
  Since this idea has never been done before, I cannot reveal much here. All I can say is we will be indexing a lot of pages, we will need to create a widget, it has to do with blogs, the end product is a huge social network and will help our users discover more friends ( real friends, not the fake friend ) and connect with people in a really unique way.

  I am a Ruby on Rails developer, I started and developed Gizmoojo.com during my spare time. Gizmoojo.com is review site of Gizmo and Gadgets.
