Designer looking for a Programmer for long-term partnership

  I'm looking to work with a developer or development team on any project relating to home automation or PVRs. I love the idea of these items being integrated into the home, and I would like to find a way to influence their look and feel to make them look very platform agnostic and attractive/functional.
  
  I am looking for a project that needs my involvement from a UI and specification perspective. I want to contribute to the design as well as the functionality of the project.
  
  I am not looking for a specific deadline-driven project, although those are not out of the question. I can contribute part-time (I work full-time). Payment is negotiable and can be discussed later.
