An existing web application we've developed is in need of a facelift, and weâ??re looking for a talented web designer or team to create it. The project will involve taking rough concepts and theme ideas, our existing design, and application requirements into account to create mockups and templates suitable for us to implement in HTML/CSS/etc. We have a pretty good idea of what weâ??re looking for, though weâ??ll also be looking for suggestions involving usability.
An ideal candidate knows HTML and CSS fluently and can implement the design mockups if necessary. Also, a portfolio of work demonstrating design skills is a must (especially pieces that show elegant, simplistic sites that focus on ease-of-use). Our web application makes extensive use of AJAX, so general knowledge of these concepts is a plus.
If this project works out, we have two other similarly sized design projects available that we'd like to also have worked on, as well as the potential for more projects in the future.
