My name is Tim Abbott and about 2 years ago I left a large Agency in Kansas
City (www.barkleyus.com) where I was as working as the Technical Director
and travelled Asia and the Middle East with my wife and kids and freelanced
all the while. Once we settled down we decided we wanted to stay in the
Middle East so I opened my own little boutique development house because I
couldn't handle all the work I was getting. This small boutique dev house
is now 20 of the most passionate developers you'd ever want to meet and
we're called tekSymmetry. We specialize in Expression Engine, Magento, Drupal, Ruby on Rails, Code Igniter, Sitefinity (ASP.NET Awesome CMS), and CakePHP development. If we can't build it with one of these technologies, we can usually figure out how to get it done. We are strong in WC3 Standards Compliant UI Development and are very strong in most AJAX libraries (mootools, prototype, scriptaculous, and JQuery (preferred)). We are usually cheaper than most freelancers but we are not outsourcers and can be contacted by Vonage or Skype. We are constantly looking to partner with astoundingly fresh designers (preferred) and/or agencies. We get a lot of great work locally here as well and are always looking for designers that understand creatively clean designs and are insanely particular about font types.
