a) www.dashgo.com - This site has been built on Ruby on Rails. This is US based site for music bands. It has 900 bands listed with itself. Here bands can upload songs of a particular format. It gets converted into 13 different formats. After conversion these formats get distributed to different music selling sites. Back end royalty processing is done on the basis of reports sent by different music sites regarding sales of albums.Band popularity is tracked on all the social networking site
b) www.grandtutors.com - this site is basically a tutorial site. One can post a question and on the date specified by the user he has to pay for the answer. he can receive the answer either through mail or online or he can directly chat with the tutor.
c) Currently we ourselves are creating a survey site where a client can create 20 questions in one survey, a link is generated and it can be mailed to a group of people. Then student or the customer will reply to that survey and consequently a graph is generated at the client side. The site has three sections one is the administrator side who holds the complete database, then the client side who holds his survey and the user who answers to the questions
d) We have also developed a site which combines social networking+ ecommerce and bidding
