Worked as a software developer for a decade for a leading European IT Services organisation and latterly for a global retailer.
I have a number of internet businesses including a web development business with a small portfolio.
My design skills are limited so often I sub-contract the design brief out to designers to complete projects both for myself and for clients.
Mostly this involves creating a logo, incorporating that logo into a website header and also designing the general layout of the website.
Initially the design would just be static photoshop, or similar, image(s) of the website. Once the design is approved I'd then ask for the image(s) to be sliced up into individual graphic elements.
I would be very interested to hear from individuals who have relevant experience, examples of thier work and a reasonable rate.
