Coming from an architectural background where form and function work closely together, complement and sustain one another, I have an ever-growing perspective on how this applies to the field of web design. As I learn more and more about this most fascinating of mediums, I find that what was once simply a philosophical point of conversation, has now become a very important field and medium for communications and other dialogs and transactions.
I understand the fundamental concepts of programming web applications, and I utilize my abilities to accelerate learning curves. I have experience programming in PHP frameworks, Python frameworks, and limited experience in ASP.net and VB.net. However, coming from a visual-based training with an emphasis on spacial design and interpretation, I consider myself to be much more of a designer than a programmer, but I am confident of my ability to execute the realization of a design utilizing PHP and RoR frameworks and the latest CSS/XHTML standards for markup.
