I am a general software architecture and implementation specialist as well as an email systems consultant. My skill set includes general application development, expert web systems creation, and all aspects and layers of email systems, from the webmail interface to anti-spam and anti-virus mechanisms, message filtering, autoresponders, management of local or virtual users, etc.
I am a formally-educated computer scientist -- hacking might be fun, but "architecting" is more so. I take pride in creating well-designed, robust, highly-featured and easily-extensible software and have professional experience dating to the early 90's in environments ranging from Fortune 500 corporate to small and/or virtual ones.
I have development experience with numerous programming languages and environments such as Java, PHP, C/C++, Perl, SQL (MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, etc.) & relational database design, (D)HTML (incl: JavaScript/AJAX), general Unix/Linux, and associated derivatives.
My email systems consultancy usually focuses on F/OSS products such as postfix, Courier, SquirrelMail, SpamAssassin and the myriad of supporting applications, but I have also worked with a broad range of both free and commercial products.
