I'm a web developer with a few years of experience in the enterprise world trying to go freelance. I also have a good eye for design, specially user interfaces and interaction design, although I'm a bit lacking on the graphic design front.
I'm a big fan of agile methodologies, mainly test-driven, iterative development, and think of coding and programming as a form of art :)
I've worked with php and Ruby on Rails for several years now, although I favor rails for several reasons, mainly productivity, but elegance and overall code niceness plays a big role, since prettier code is easier to maintain and refactor.
I'm also a complete web standards geek: I beleive in accessibility and usability and see semantic markup and progressive-enhancement as musts in any project I'm involved in, be it small or large. I know my Javascript inside-out too, having worked with Ajax-y things since Ajax wasn't called Ajax. I also understand internationalization and localization pretty well, and have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
