I am a html/css/jquery & php/mysql programmer with 10 years industry experience.
I use the jquery javascript library for all my javascript effects and ajax, I find this allows for a much more consistent user experience across all browsers. I also use Codeigniter php framework for larger projects as it helps future proof applications and enable easy extension through its modular design.
I also have experience building sites using Movable Type.
