Software Engineer
Madison Logic, a rapidly growing startup and industry leader in lead generation and data services wants you! We’re a Microsoft .NET shop but also use cutting edge technologies like noSQL databases, Ruby on Rails, Hadoop, Storm, and more. At 60 people we’re at a great size… you can learn from an experienced team of engineers but will have large growth opportunities as the company continues to expand the next few years. Responsibilities:
· Develop highly-available & scalable web-based applications
· Consider and research emerging technologies to improve current applications, architectures and processes, specifically mobile and social technologies/applications
· Actively participate in the agile process (Scrum) and code reviews
· Own or lead small/midsize projects (requirements, design, work planning, risk analysis, etc.)

QA Engineer
Madison Logic, a rapidly growing startup and industry leader in lead generation and data services wants you! We’re a Microsoft .NET shop but also use cutting edge technologies like noSQL databases, Storm, Selenium, Git, etc. We’re hiring for our QA team as we continue to expand our product line.
While manual testing is part of our process, in 2014 we’re working to automate as much of our QA process as we can. You should like the idea of automation, ideally had experience doing it and/or have some background with programming or scripting languages.
Responsibilities:
· QA new and enhanced software systems
· Develop automated test suites using Selenium and other tools
· Actively participate in the agile process (Scrum)
· Break, mangle, dupe, and otherwise crush the software a developer thought was functionally correct
· Cause developers to cower in fear at the thought of you testing their systems
· Kick ass and chew gum (gum chewing optional)
Job Requirements:
· 4+ years of development experience
· Good understanding of software in general and SDLC
· Proficiency with web services and RESTful API’s and basic knowledge of HTTP protocol
· Experience with SQL (ideally MySQL)

DevOps / System Administrator
Are you a System Administrator bored of mundane desktop support? Ready for a DevOps role?
Madison Logic is currently looking for a System Administrator with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to make an impact. Reporting to the Director of IT, the System Administrator will work with both the Development, QA and Product teams to ensure a dynamic, robust, and scalable infrastructure to support our platform.
Diversity is our middle name We run both Windows and Linux for OS. Our data systems include MySQL, Mongo, SQLServer, MemCache, Mongo, Hadoop, Storm… and the list is growing every day. Some of these systems are terabytes in size and growing exponentially.
Don’t worry, we’re engineers, not some corporate HR department so we’re not holding our breath for the unrealistic swiss army knife of sys admins who has 10 years of experience in technology that’s only been around for 3. If you’ve got some of the skills we list and would like to pick up new ones, send us your resume. First and foremost we value brains and ability to learn.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the tech/product teams to identify, develop, and deploy new technologies
· Scale up our rapidly growing production environment (we’re doubling annually)
· Network administration (routing, switches, firewall, VPN, DNS, etc.)
· Linux, Windows and Active Directory administration
· Backup and monitoring (safety first!)
· Documentation (you can never have too much!)
· Strategic selection of new technologies
· Vendor management and selection
· Some equipment management and a little desktop support (yeah, we don’t like it either, but we promise it’s not a big part of the job)

· At least 3 years experience with High Availability 24/7 enterprise servers
· Experience with one or more of MySQL, Mongo, Storm, Hadoop

· Experience with web servers (IIS, apache, nginx, or other)
· Fluency in Microsoft technologies including .NET, MS SQL and/or Linux

Data Analyst
Is your middle name “Data� Do you crunch numbers so fast and loud your officemates need headphones to drown out the noise? Ever make a pie chart to track how you spend time? If so have we got a job for you!
We are looking for a data analyst to help us track key company metrics. We generate hundreds of millions of data points a month (and it’s growing exponentially). We’ve using NoSQL tools like Hadoop, Storm, and NoSQL databases, but at the end of the day someone needs to look at the data and understand it.
You’ll be working with the engineering, product, and account management teams. You don’t need to know how to program (although that’s a plus if you do) but you should have some basic statistics and/or modeling experience (either in college in in recent work history) and are interested in quantitative analysis or potentially going on to become a data scientist. Ultimately you be finding patterns in a sea of data.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain data models
· Propose new metrics to track
· Alert business when metrics signal a change in operations
· Contribute to data strategy
