My name is Aaron Nwabuoku. I am a 3rd year Psychology BSc. major at York University and a software developer with training and experience with the Android platform. I have over a year's experience with Android development and I have published onto the Google Play Store. I have experience in developing and deploying apps for the Android platform coupled with a strong knowledge of Java and experience with JavaScript. I have spent the last 12 months training extensively, bettering my Android skills and I feel confident in my ability to initiate and complete a large range of Android projects. I have completed over a dozen Android and Java courses including a course by Google, and have written numerous sample applications to hone my skills.
I am familiar with both simple and advanced Android concepts like the Activity Lifecycle, Services, Loaders, Broadcast Receivers, SyncAdapters, and Content Providers. I have written applications showcasing features like sensors, location and maps, networking and many more. I am able to handle a number of data formats including JSON and XML, and I have worked with RESTful APIs.
