After working freelance jobs on the side during my 8 years of corporate enslavement, I developed a burning desire to work for myself. I figured that would be the only way I could choose the types of projects to work on and when I wanted to work on them. Plus I don't have to put up with those annoying co-workers microwaving stinky fish leftovers any more!
I am primarily a web designer but am also expert at internet marketing and an intermediate web developer. Originally I learned ASP and some ASP.net but when I went solo, I switched to PHP to avoid the excessive fees and hegemony of Microsoft. Plus being a web designer working on ASP.net with programmers is a pain in the arse. So, now I develop almost exclusively in PHP/MySQL. My client base is rapidly expanding, and that's why I'm here.

I like people who do whatever it takes to get the job done, and who want to be fairly rewarded for doing an excellent job. People who work with me must be responsible, reliable and right on time, to quote my son's Thomas the Tank Engine video! :)
I just bought a restored 95-year-old house in a St. Louis suburb. I have a beautiful wife who stays home with our 3 kids and, thus, I am the breadwinner in this family. They rely on me to generate a certain amount of income, so I can't afford to fail in my projects. I am taking a big risk looking for a developer on PMD, so I hope I find the right fit.
