I am experienced professional software developer with less than mediocre design skills, but I love software with a beautiful visual interface. I have 10+ professional software development experience and I am currently employed by a global leader in PHP software development.
I am considering entering the highly competitive industry, with my own ideas (simply because I can do it better :)) and I need a professional designer who can take my wire frame designs and make them look awesome. As well as make documentation, etc look wicked.
Technical details will be handled entirely by me and/or the various professional contacts I have accumulated over the years. I'm not looking for someone with business savvy skills but that would be an asset.
My plan is to develop world class software solutions for small/medium enterprises:
- Fully compliant XHTML/CSS design
- Meet or exceed current web accessibility standards
- Multiple language support
- Secure and optimized code bases (SQL injection, XSS, etc)
- My interpretation of model 2 MVC architectures (optimized)
My software company will focus more on implementing feature requests rather than fixing bugs (Properly developed software should allow this, but this is never the case).
I have been using computers since the dawn of time so it is only natural I have a solid understanding of a quality user interface, as I have witnessed the evolution from key terminals to today's cuttin edge GUI.
If you feel like you can meet my design requirements of beautiful appearance, we can take my project(s) to the cutting edge of development and become leaders in the industry.
