I have designed a layout and outline for a social networking community, mixing elements from MySpace, Facebook, Hi5, FaceTheJury, VoteMeOff, CyberSocieties, and various others. There is still a lot of design work to be done on my part, but the idea itself is already laid out. I need someone who is proficient in back-end coding, including php, mysql, javascript, and more to help setup and program things like messaging system, message board forum, profiles, etc. I can handle most (if not all) of the layout coding (html/css).
This is a free gig, meaning there is no immediate pay. If the website makes money then obviously you will see half of it.
If anyone is willing to sink their teeth into this idea, I think it definitely has potential to become a profitable, fun site. If dozens of other sites can thrive and make money despite MySpace and Facebook, then why can't any others, right? I think if you have good ideas, good design, and strong features then anything is possible.
You may contact me here if you are interested. I will get back to you in 24 hours time, guaranteed.
